Yogurt Parfait (makes 1 serving)

Ingredients:
1x 4oz low fat blueberry yogurt, 1/4 cup  blueberries, 1/4 cup  miniature marshmallows,
1x 4oz low fat strawberry yogurt, 1/4 cup chopped strawberries

Directions:
1)  In a glass spoon blueberry yogurt. Top with blueberries.
2)  Layer marshmallows over blueberries.
3)  Spoon strawberry yoghurt over marshmallows. Top with chopped strawberries. 


Rice Pudding

Ingredients:
3 eggs, 3 teaspoons of sugar, 2 tablespoons of rice, 1/3 cup of milk, nutmeg, 1/4 cup of water, oven dish, bowl

Directions:
Wash rice and cook until soft. Beat eggs in a bowl. Add the milk, sugar, cooked rice and mix. Put the mixture in a greased bowl.
Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake in oven at 180c until rice pudding has a golden brown color on top of it.


Custard

Ingredients:
300ml of milk, 1 tablespoon of custard, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essence, saucepan

Directions:
Combine a 1/4 cup of milk with the custard to form a paste. Boil the remaining milk. Add mixture to boiling milk and lower the stove.
Stir until thick and constantly so it does not form lumps. Add vanilla essence. Pour hot custard over a slice of cake. Let it cool and eat. Delicious. Custard can also be eaten cold. Eat custard with Jell-O.


Frozen Yogurt Pops

Ingredients:
1 can frozen orange or grape juice concentrate, 1 cup unflavored yogurt, 1 can of water

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in blender. Cover and whirl until combined. Pour into Popsicle cups or 3-ounce paper cups.
Freeze partially and add plastic spoons for sticks to hold or popsicle sticks. Freeze firmly. Makes 8 nutritious yogurt cups.


Fruit Popsicles

Ingredients:
5 peeled oranges, 2 cups pineapple juice, 2 cups sugar, 5 bananas, Juice of 2 lemons, 1 (12-ounce) can frozen orange juice

Directions:
Place oranges, pineapple juice and sugar in a blender. Blend until oranges are thoroughly chopped. In a bowl, mash the bananas and add the lemon juice. Add the contents of the blender and stir well. In a pitcher or jug, mix the frozen orange juice with water as directed on the outside of the can. Pour this juice into the bowl and blend well with the banana and orange mixture. Fill paper cups or Popsicle containers with this mixture and freeze
.


Creamed Banana

Ingredients:

1 ripe banana, sliced into small pieces, 1/4 cup light cream, Pinch of sugar

Directions:
Blend ingredients in bowl until creamy. Serve. Stores well refrigerated


Banana Pops

Ingredients:
2 medium bananas, peeled and halved crosswise, 1 tablespoon toasted chopped coconut, 1 tablespoon finely chopped peanuts,    1/4 cup crisp rice cereal, 2 teaspoons maple-flavored syrup or honey, 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg, ground cinnamon, or apple pie spice, wooden craft sticks, dish

Directions:
Insert a wooden craft stick into the cut end of each banana half. Place on a baking sheet. Freeze 1 hour or until bananas are firm.
In a dish mix cereal, coconut, peanuts, and nutmeg. Brush frozen bananas with syrup or honey, then roll in cereal mixture to coat.
Wrap each pop individually in plastic wrap; return to freezer. Freeze 2 hours or until completely frozen.
Store in freezer up to 2 days. Makes 4 servings.
