Surprising Kids is the result of a creative mom inspired by her mother as well as a mom surprising her kids.  Her mother was a creative person who loved to knit, crochet, embroider, sew as well as cook and bake.  As a young child I knitted, crocheted, embroidered and even sewed baby clothes.  My passion is crafting, and I am always looking for fresh ideas to make or design.

Here you will find a wide variety of whimsical, funky, yet simple, handmade items.  All of my items are handcrafted such as the hair clips, hair ties, felt food, necklaces and clipboards.  It takes a very long time to make each item. Nothing is mass produced.  Custom Orders are always welcomed.  I hope you enjoy my designs as much as I have had creating them.

Not many children receive mail, so when ordering one of our products we can address the package directly to your child.  Your child will be surprise to see her or his name on the package.  Just let us know if you want the package address to your child.  This is a surprise they will never ever forget!
